According to UK law, AYURVEDA BOOKING Ltd is authorized to invoice and collect payment for bookings but not to sale any kind of transportation, hence it is very clear that it's not a travel agency, but merely a booking agency. The commercial brand AYURVEDA VOYAGES - protected by INPI (National Institute for Industrial Property) under the N° 073479353, is focused on the French speaking market and is used by AYURVEDA BOOKING Ltd as a marketing extension, but within all limitations implied by its legal status. HISTORY of'AYURVEDA VOYAGES and AYURVEDA BOOKING
When we have created Ayurveda Booking Ltd, our goal was to promote the knowledge of Ayurveda that we consider to be a blessing for humanity, alas unknown top, beyond the borders of India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Currently, legislation on the protection of products with medicinal value is a near total barrier against alternative medicines, including herbal medicines such as Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Chinese medicine, herbal medicine, etc ... Our goal is to make Ayurveda known where it is practiced legally and without limits or falsifications. At the real beginning of Ayurveda Booking / Ayurveda Voyages, in 2007, it was really hard to find internet centers, even in English. and as for the French language, it was the desert. The few centers that we were able to discover presented their skills in a way that made them think of well-being rather than health, probably for marketing reasons. That's what pushed us to create this company, and thus defend Ayurveda, or at least inform as best as possible what it is or is not. We have also chosen a name (Ayurveda Voyages) that is very communicative, but we are not in solidarity with the collective denaturation that creates unjust amalgam and that makes Ayurveda for a simple well-being, because it's really so more than that! Since then, we have been doing our best to light the lanterns, participate in various official events related to Ayurveda in India, maintain close contacts with centers, doctors, laboratories, public authorities. Ayurveda is not the only organized alternative medicine on the planet, and is not (or little) an emergency medicine, but the more we'll be aware of its existence, and perhaps the more we'll have another vision of health, which is a treasure that belongs only to us.
